Uggggh. I can't follow what you're problems are, AKemper, but I can attest to the software's compatibility and stability. Other than putting the mounted Truecrypt file in READ ONLY, the only real way I can use Truecrupt is  by uninstalling Norton then re-installing it when I finish.
