It has frozen and gone blank in safe mode with networking as well. Often times, it freezes up when the computer is idle too. And this is the original "third" stick I had in from start and had taken out when the freezes decreased significant as described earlier. Ccleaner I mean yes, but it'd be a bad motherboard which I doubt + you can rule that out by testing the bad sticks in different slots.

I've find the cheaper motherboard often have a hard time sustaining higher clocks or don't allow you enough control to get a good overclock. Is hardware acceleration set to full? Yeah, I normally go with Asus, or if I must, Gigabyte. It's a good quality one and even with some degradation it seems to be able to output enough power for my system, according to some of those online calculators. No need to upgrade CPU/Mobo yet.
