I don't have a Vista recovery disc, but I followed steps on another site to create one. She phoned me last night saying the laptop won't turn on. However, when I run this disc and try to select repair my computer, it doesn't find my operating system on the list. I turn it on and I am presented with a screen saying: Windows Failed to start.
