I played for over an hour and when attempting to put a door on in build mode it crashed and gave me the BSOD. Tried to shut everything down in the background ( anti virus, etc etc ) - no change. Your description sounds like the game is killing your graphics card. Acers are notorious for overheating and other stability issues and really are far from ideal machines to try to game with.

I had a laptop with a bad hard drive (started roughly 3 months after buying) and that's what it would do.
